The average buyer may not be aware of the MANDATORY Florida State Laws requiring that costly
veterinary expenses are paid up front by every breeder selling any animal. They are continually
added to as the animal ages, raising prices with age.
In summary; pets go up in cost not down as they get older, reputable breeders spend more than
they ever make, and vets do great in FL and CA.

| months (16 wks.) of age, adding an additional $100 to $300 that the seller/breeder must pay-- up front. | ||
| If any animal intends to fly, a mandatory Interstate Health Inspection Certificate must also be | |
| acquired for this state, costing THE BUYER another $100 to $275--just for the paperwork to fly, regardless of shipping or carry on. The actual flight will cost you, the buyer, another $100 to $400. Spays and neuters run $150 to $400, again, depending on your location. This is also an additional expense. Do the math, and then determine the price of vet costs already spent by your breeder included in the sale price of your pet. |
